Our coffee machine is very simple and convenient to use. You’ll notice it has two buttons — one for a long coffee and one for a short. Please note that the machine is compatible only with Nespresso-style coffee pods, so make sure you use these for the best results.

Before brewing, lift the top of the machine and insert your Nespresso pod. Check that the water tank at the back has enough water before switching it on. When the machine powers up, the buttons will begin flashing as it heats. Once the flashing stops, it is ready to use.

Simply press the button for your preferred coffee size and the machine will brew automatically, stopping on its own when your drink is ready. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your coffee just the way you like it!

In Cyprus, most homes—including our apartments—use roof-mounted water tanks heated by solar panels. This means that on sunny days, hot water is provided naturally, with no extra action needed from you.

If the weather has been cloudy and the water isn’t warm enough, you can switch on the electric heating element. Simply turn it on around 30 minutes before your shower to allow enough time for the water to heat up.

The boiler is equipped with a timer switch and will automatically turn off after the set time. The recommended heating time is around 30 minutes in winter. During summer, there is usually no need to switch the boiler on, as the solar system provides sufficient hot water.

You’ll find two switches mounted on the wall next to the bathroom:

  • The top switch controls the water pressure. This switch should be always ON.

  • The bottom switch controls the electric hot water heater, which should only be used when there is no sun. Please turn this switch on only when needed, and always switch it off afterwards to avoid overheating the system.

 

Before you check out, please return the key to the lockbox on the door. Open the box using your code, place the key inside, close the door, and scramble the numbers to secure it again.
If you happen to lose the key during your stay, the replacement cost is €60, as it is digitally linked to the door system. In this case, please contact us immediately at +447878686987 and we will arrange a locksmith for you as soon as possible.

We offer free, high-speed broadband for all guests. You’ll find the Wi-Fi network name and password clearly displayed on the instructions located near the main door. Simply enter the password on your device and enjoy fast internet for streaming, working, or browsing throughout your stay.

 

The TV is equipped with an Android smart box, giving you access to popular apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, Google, and YouTube.
To watch your favourite shows, simply open the app you want and sign into your personal account. Feel free to stream films, TV series or use YouTube during your stay.
Before checking out, please make sure you log out of all accounts for your privacy and security.

You’ll find the Amazon Alexa device located next to the TV box. To use it, simply say “Alexa” followed by your command. For example, you can ask Alexa to play music, tune into a radio station, set a timer, check the weather, or answer general questions.

Alexa responds to voice commands instantly, making it easy to create a relaxing atmosphere or enjoy your favourite sounds during your stay. If you ever feel unsure, just say “Alexa, what can you do?” and she will list helpful suggestions.

Yes, we provide plenty of extra bedding for your comfort.
You’ll find additional pillows neatly stored in the wardrobe. If you are using the sofa bed, there are also extra sheets, covers, and bedding available so you can make it up easily. If you need anything else, just let us know and we’ll be happy to help.

Tap water in Cyprus is safe for washing and cooking, but it is not recommended for drinking due to differences in water treatment and mineral content.
To stay hydrated, please use bottled water. We’ve included a welcome pack with bottled water to get you started for the first day or two of your stay.

The sewage system in Cyprus can be sensitive, so please do not flush toilet paper, wipes, nappies, or any sanitary items. These items can easily cause blockages in the pipes.
Instead, please use the bin provided next to the toilet.
If a blockage occurs due to flushed items, we can arrange for a plumber to resolve the issue, but the cost of the repair will need to be covered by the guest.

The air conditioning system is operated using a timer switch on the wall, not the remote control. To turn the aircon on, simply choose one of the available time settings—30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours—using the wall-mounted timer. This ensures efficient energy use while keeping the apartment cool and comfortable.

The remote control is only used to adjust the temperature and airflow once the air conditioning is already running. You cannot switch the aircon on or off using the remote. The middle remote (between air-condition remote and timer switch) is for the ceiling fan.

If you need longer cooling, you can restart the timer once it finishes. This setup helps maintain a pleasant temperature while preventing the system from running continuously.

The rubbish bin inside the flat is located under the sink, in the cupboard.

If you need to dispose of rubbish outside the flat, the main communal bins are located outside on the main road near the main complex entrance. You can reach them in either of the following ways:

  • Go next to the swimming pool, then turn right and walk towards the main car park exit on the road.
  • Alternatively, exit the flat, turn left and walk up the hill, then turn left again around the complex.

You will find two large communal bins located on the road.
